Warzone 2 players claim that cheaters are rampant ahead of Season 2 ...

Players are reporting that hackers are wreaking havoc on lobbies once more, making the game "miserable."

Cheaters are a common issue in all online shooters, and Warzone 2 is no exception. Despite the launch of the Battle Royale sequel with the RICOCHET anti-cheat, hackers have still managed to ruin matches in many different ways.

From crashing inside walls for quick kills to knifing players from the other side of the map, cheaters will go through seemingly no lengths to win.

Players are reporting that the number of hackers is on the rise again with Warzone 2 Season 2 just days away. 'youssef_labiadh,' a Reddit user who wanted to know if they had been murdered by a player using an aimbot while driving.

Many Warzone 2 supporters replied, claiming that they had encountered a hacker and that they had also been victim to more suspicious deaths than usual in the previous few days.

'Far_Amphibian' said, 'Cheaters are rampant again.' The last two days have been miserable, with me dying to cheaters left and right. I have no idea what's going on but I've put my controller down after three matches each night because it [was] so blatant.'

Another player said his friend and I have been dying to people who were using this aimbot frequently over the past few days. "It's] becoming a big issue."

Others replied, claiming that while they haven't encountered hackers themselves while playing Warzone 2, they've noticed an increase in the number of social media posts featuring players using cheats. One player even declared they're "all over" their TikTok feed.

RICOCHET has done a decent job of keeping the issue at bay in Warzone 2. However, the community is concerned about how frequent the issue might become.

Hopefully, this isn't the start of a trend that will see Warzone 2 become as prone to cheating as its predecessor.
