New information for recent games is always coming out at Nintendo Directs, and the February showcase was no exception. The broadcast was packed with new and upcoming games.

Release dates, new gameplay trailers, and new games were all shown today, in addition to a few other things, including the addition of GameBoy and GameBoy Advance games to the Nintendo Switch Online service. In the first half of 2023, players of all genres will find a ton of new games and new content.

Although the February Nintendo Direct was packed with a wide assortment of new games, there were five things that stood out. Here are the top five things that players are looking forward to following the showcase.

5.Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp

Release Date: April 21, 2023

The Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp has been postponed a bit, but it's now almost here and players are eager to get their hands on it. When the game launches on April 21, you'll be able to exercise your strategic muscles in a number of modes and play your own maps.

Wave 1 and Wave 2 DLC for Splatoon 3

Release date: Spring 2023

Players will be transported back to Inkopolis, where it all began, in Wave One of Splatoon 3's paid DLC, which was previously released. Players are already interested in getting a fresh look at a well-known area from previous games. Side Order is said to be a player's introduction to the Octoling.

Pikmin 4 is a 4K video game.

Release Date: July 21, 2023

The fourth installment of Nintendo's famous game series Pikmin is already set to be a smash hit. New planetlike Pikmin, such as the new Ice Pikmin, there's also a new dog-inspired creature named Oatchi, who will assist players in overcoming difficulties.

Metroid Prime Remastered

Release date: February 8, physical version: February 22.

Fans of the popular Metroid series are glad to see this remake of Metroid Prime during a Nintendo Switch direct. The physical version will be on sale on February 22, but those who don't want a physical copy may play the game right now on the eShop.

Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 1.

Release date: May 12, 2023

The first gameplay trailer for Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was shown today, which highlighted crumbling castles, red skies, and plenty of enemies to defeat. Players are already enthused by the game's quality and detail, and they will want to get their hands on it in May.
