In Hogwarts Legacy, you can explore the magical world, meet new characters, and learn new spells. Naturally, you will encounter various magical Beasts in the wild, and you may reduce them to keep them safe from poachers.
In Hogwarts Legacy, beast taming is an essential skill that allows you not only to save and tame creatures, but also to obtain certain magical materials.
Professor Howin directs you to the Beasts class, where you will meet Poppy Sweeting, who introduces you to two magical animals called Puffskeins and Kneazles. She also teaches you the Beast Petting Brush and Beast Feed, both of which are required to tame different Beasts found in nature.
The Nab Sack will be available later on in Deek. So, if you want to save and tame the Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, we have you covered.
How to Find Hogwarts Legacy Beasts
While exploring various Hogwarts Legacy areas, you will encounter certain dens that are home to magical creatures. These are identified by the paw symbol on the map; check out the yellow circles above to see how they appear.
Different magical creatures inhabit each of these dens, and you may go to these areas to discover them.
In the main quest, you will reach the North Ford Bog quite early, and we recommend players to look for the other regions along the way. Explore these new areas of the map to discover different magical creature dens. After getting the Nab-Sack, you can travel to these Beast dens to save and bring them to the Vivarium.
In the Hogwarts Legacy, how do you get rid of Beasts?
Poppy Sweeting teaches you how to tame the magical creatures in the Beasts class quest. You can also use the Beast Petting Brush to pet the creatures in Hogwarts Legacy.
Remember, you can only interact with tamed magical beasts. As you progress in the game and acquire the Nab-Sack, you may introduce different Beasts to the Vivarium.
You may also rename the Beasts or free them from the Vivarium here. This will be available after you complete the Plight of the House-Elf quest. For this, you will need the Breeding Pen Spellcraft from Tombs and Scrolls at Hogsmeade.
In Hogwarts Legacy, how do I save Beasts and take them to Vivarium?
Deek shows you how to use the Nab-Sack and rescue magical creatures in the Room of Requirement, where you will be able to save Beasts that you will find all over the map and bring them to the Vivarium.
Returning to the Room of Requirement with a Puffskein, a Jobberknoll, and a Mooncalf will be encountered in the Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom quest.
The room will be adapted to your requirements and includes a Vivarium to keep the Beasts safe. Enter the Vivarium and release the Beasts. You may bring different magical creatures and take care of them to get different magical materials. The Vivarium can hold four species of magical creatures with 12 different Beasts, and it will have a species limit. Use the Conjuration spell to keep the magical creatures fed and entertained.
Progress in Deek's quest to save more beasts and bring them to the Vivarium in Hogwarts Legacy. Plight of the House-Elf, Foal of the Dead, and Phoenix Rising are some of the main side quests to keep in mind.
To get these quests when they are available, make sure you interact with Deek every time you visit the Room of Requirement.
At Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade, you may sell magical creatures for Galleons.
