The most recent update to Wrath of the Lich King Classic included a number of exciting new features, such as the Ulduar raid, the Argent Tournament Grounds, as well as Season Six of PvP.
There were also a few minor tweaks that weren't included in Patch 3.1, such as an upgraded rewards system for Ulduar and Titan Rune Dungeons, which are a level 80 Heroic Dungeons additional difficulty modifier. These Titan Rune Dungeons were originally known as Heroic Plus, but are now known in a completely different light.
Titan Rune Dungeons will come up with a new optional difficulty mode called Defense Protocol Alpha, and defeating the bosses within this difficulty mode rewards players handsomely.
The task of earning these rewards isn't the easiest, yet make sure you learn how to activate Titan Rune Dungeons in WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic before reading the rest of our guide.
In WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic, how do you start Titan Rune Dungeons?
To activate and begin a Titan Rune Dungeon, you must go to the Level 80 Heroic Dungeons. Next to the entrance of each dungeon, you can see a Mysterious Titanic Relic, which should look like a floating disc with runes all over it.
Before a text box appears, each member in your party must interact with the Relic to activate the rune effects on the dungeon.
Once you have activated this option, the run will prompt players to pick a smaller object that resembles a Titan sphere. After clicking on this object, you should see a beam of light streaming down on the Mysterious Titan Relic, which means you have successfully completed the activation.
What exactly does this Empowered Titan Rune have to offer? Elves and bosses will also gain the 'Empowered Rune effect, which gives all enemies a 30 percent increase in damage and a 100 percent increase in health.
When Defense Protocol Alpha is activated, dungeon bosses will drop 10-player gear from Eye of Eternity, Naxxramas, and Obsidian Sanctum.
