If you've ever wondered what Eevee evolutions, or Eeveelutions, might be like if they were a little more mech-y, an artist has your back.
On February 7, Shunixe, a Pokémon subreddit artist, posted a series of Eevelutions as mecha versions of themselves.
Fans were extremely positive about the post, and the designs are being compared to Horizon: Zero Dawn and nostalgic anime, Zoids.
An eye-eyed Redditor even noticed the artist used the shiny model of Umbreon rather than the usual one, indicative of the bluish secondary color used in the illustration rather than a yellowish one.
Leafeon will be the next and last item on the list, just as the title of the Reddit post suggests. With how positive the response is, you can almost guarantee that Leafeon will attract attention.
A little digging in the artist's account reveals that they're also interested in Monster Hunter and have drawn mecha-like monsters from the game. Monsters such as Tobi-Kadachi and Mizutsune have also received this treatment.
This isn't the first time an artist has transformed Pokémon into a different style. Game Freak, in fact, does it in a simpler manner whenever it uses its copy ability. However, you can't deny that these are great pieces of art from the community.
