Riot Games revealed further information on the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational, including the dates, locations, and ticket information, as well as giving fans an idea of the event's official hymn.
Fans of League of Legends are always looking forward to the competition's songs that Riot composes specifically for its events, and this year the anthem might have been revealed sooner than ever.
Riot released the first official image related to the event three months prior to the event, which includes the event's logo, the venue, and the theme of this year's MSI.
From the way they are separated by a rhythmic metric typical of songs, the anthem's lyrics seem to be the same as the MSI 2023 theme, which is also highlighted on the third-to-last line. Riot previously did this with the MSI last year, by including the then theme "TAKE NOTES" into the song "SET IT OFF."
Dot Esports has reached out to Riot for confirmation on whether the official images from the MSI 2023 are part of the event's anthem. Unfortunately, Riot is not willing to confirm or deny that at this time.
The lyrics for the MSI 2023 will be revealed closer to the start of the championship, which will begin on May 2. However, there are no specifics yet on the artist who composed the song.
