Kevin Hart has been most well-known for his comedy films, but you seldom see him in more serious roles. Have you ever imagined him as Wesley Snipes, Will Smith, or Samuel L Jackson? Well, Hart's latest film may demonstrate that he has the drive to become the next action superstar.
Hart's upcoming film, Die Hart, is being released by Amazon Prime, where he undertakes intensive training to perfect his combat, rescue, and confidence abilities in order to fulfill his lifelong ambition of becoming the next action superstar. Along with John Travolta, Game of Thrones' Nathalie Emmanuel, and Josh Hatrnett, they demonstrate to him what it takes to be a true and convincing action star.
If the title of the film sounds familiar, it's because it's a name for a successful TV program on Quibi. According to Amazon, the film follows the first 10 episodes of the 2020 TV series, reimagined into a film format. The original TV show received an average score of 80 and 73 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, so in a sense, it was a success.
Hart has appeared in a few action comedy films in the past, including the 2017 and 2019 remakes of Jumanji, Central Intelligence, The Man from Toronto, and an uncredited role in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. It will be interesting to see what he needs to do in order to be the next action star.
Die Hart will be available for download on Amazon Prime Video on February 24, 2023.
