A fan went to the r/MarvelStudios subreddit to test their reasoning. Is it possible that Heimdall (Idris Elba) may be able to kill Thanos (Josh Brolin) if the Bifrost Bridge calls Stormbreaker and Stormbreaker kills Thanos?
Another fan pointed out that Stormbreaker is energetically linked to Thor and would not have the same powers in the hands of anyone else. They expressed doubts about whether Heimdall would be able to defeat Thanos.
Others felt the Bifrost and Rainbow Bridge were separate concepts. However, Heimdall and Odin did have the ability to invoke the Bifrost Bridge through a certain kind of sorcery.
