A new series of Star Wars shows is bringing long-dead characters to life for the first time.
Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren will be switched from animation to live-action in the future, following in the footsteps of other favorites like Ahsoka Tano and Cad Bane, who made their live-action debuts in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Star Wars fans are naming their names for some of the most anticipated characters.
After it was discovered that Thrawn's ideal actor was identified years ago, a debate about who would best portray Grand Admiral Thrawn in live action ended before it truly began.

The first asked viewers to name their "top actor" for Thrawn, and included a number of photos depicting the character's blue skin and crisp white uniform on several potential actors, all of whom look unusually like the vicious Chiss officer.

In "The One Where Michael Leaves," the character paints himself blue in an effort to attract attention from the Blue Man Group. Cross pulls off the blue look spectacularly and prompted Star Wars fans to joke about a Fünke-style Thrawn performance.
