Forget about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, there's another Marvel production coming to the public this February that deserves your attention first. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur have been in the works at Marvel Animation for the past half a decade, but it's now going to be released in the United States. According to the fact that it has reached a perfect 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it's worth the wait.
The show's many advantages include its ability to entice an underappreciated comic book duo to a whole new audience, as well as its breathtaking animation style that's being compared to Sony's Spider-Verse movies. Another is the ridiculously well-known voice cast. Maya Hawke, Jennifer Hudson, and Alison Brie are just some of the big names on the show.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur also feature a number of familiar faces from Marvel's wide world, giving the doorway for other intriguing crossover possibilities.
Laurence Fishburne is a lawyer who specializes in forensics.
Laurence Fishburne, the most well-known MCU alum who has been involved in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, is the studio's executive producer. He's well-known for his roles as the Silver Surfer in Fox's Fantastic Four franchise and as Bill Foster in Ant-Man and the Wasp. He's playing the Beyonder, a character we'd like to see him play in live-action.
Alfre Woodard is a British author.
Alfre Woodard is an amazing actress because she has two separate MCU roles to her name. In Captain America: Civil War, she had a brief appearance as the mother who blames Tony Stark and the Avengers for her son's death, thus launching the Sokovia Accords. Later in 2016, she appeared in Netflix's Luke Cage, playing Lunella's grandmother.
Fred Tatasciore is a well-known artist.
Fred Tatasciore is well-known for his voice, which includes roles as Hulk in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Beast in Wolverine and the X-Men. In Moon Girl, he plays Lunella's prehistoric friend, Devil Dinosaur (no, the T-Rex does not speak, but it does make, you know, dinosaur sounds).
May Calamawy.
May Calamawy was one of the most popular new faces to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2022. She was introduced onto the stage as Layla El-Faouly, the wife of Oscar Isaac's Marc Spector, who has become her own superhero by the end of the series a representation of the Egyptian goddess Tawaret. Her role in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur has yet to be revealed prior to the series' premiere.
Cobie Smulders
Cobie Smulders is a person who needs no introduction to Marvel fans, considering that the How I Met Your Mother star has been around the Marvel Cinematic Universe for almost as long as it has existed. Smulders is one of the few franchise vets who has appeared in every phase thus far she will return in Phase Five in this year's Secret Invasion.
Anna Akana
Anna Akana, an actress and internet sensation, isn't often associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but let's not forget the fact that she made a minor but memorable appearance in Ant-Man. She appears in the final scene, in which Luis remembers discovering Sam Wilson is looking for Scott Lang. After the conclusion of Amphibia's hit animated series, Akana is set to play a guest role.
Josh Keaton is a comedian.
Josh Keaton is another accomplished voice actor who has sung many of Marvel's most well-known actors. He also acted as Steve Rogers in an episode of the MCU's What If...?. Most famously, though, he played Peter Parker in the beloved The Spectacular Spider-Man series. It appears he is about to web up another character in Moon Girl.
Wesley Snipes is a professional footballer.
Wesley Snipes, the Daywalker's former Kings of New York co-star, is set to reprise his role in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. At the very least, Snipes is going to return to the Marvel multiverse through this program. Although, fans are likely to lose the show if it turns out he's not playing Blade in the cartoon.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will release their first episode on the Disney Channel on February 10 before coming on Disney Plus on February 15. New episodes will be released weekly.
