The new Al Mazrah map features classic Modern Warfare 2 maps as POIs at Call of Duty Next.
The sequel to Warzone will include new circle mechanics, a new backpack system, and many more.
Despite the new gameplay tweaks, players got their first official look at the new Warzone 2 map, Al Mazrah. While some interesting POIs were previously leaked, we finally received confirmation that the same Old Warfare 2 maps will be found across Al Mazrah.
Warzone 2 Al Mazrah map overview
The first map that players have ever made in Warzone 2 will take players to a desert region called Al Mazrah, featuring a myriad of landscapes, including bodies of water, deserts, and urban structures.
As the new AI brings the location to life, Al Mazrah will feel like the most vibrant Warzone map to date.
The early version of Warzone 2 did not detract from the excitement, although most players were most excited about old Call of Duty maps making a comeback as several Al Mazrah POIs.

The Call of Duty franchise is a powerful force, and most players have fond memories of 2009's Modern Warfare 2. For this reason, players are bound to be enthused by the fact that Highrise, Terminal, Quarry, and Modern Warfare 3s Dome are all part of the Warzone 2 map.
Highrise and Terminal, among others, were the most popular Modern Warfare 2 maps. Previously, leaks suggested that these maps would play a role in Warzone 2, but we now have confirmation that they are Al Mazrah POIs.
It's also speculated that these old Warzone POIs might be added to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer sometime at some point, but this hasn't been confirmed.
