Post-launch, Modern Warfare 2 will introduce Destiny-style Raids ...

Modern Warfare 2 is expected to be one of the most expansive and wide-ranging Call of Duty titles ever, with MW2 expected to introduce Destiny-style Raids following the release.

Call of Duty Next has released a slew of exciting news for all three franchises' next releases: Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2, and Warzone Mobile.

With the now confirmed sandbox DMZ mode, Warzone 2.0 is getting some exciting new modes, as Infinity Ward is working on new Call of Duty experiences for MW2.

The developers are planning to include Raids to the game, drawing inspiration from the Bungies Destiny franchise.

Infinity Ward states in a Call of Duty blog that Raids will be a three-player cooperative engagement that will require teamwork and strategy.

Similar to the classic Spec Ops mode, players will be collaborating to complete objectives against AI. It appears that players will also have to put their thinking caps on in the middle of intense combat.

As the new AI that Infinity Ward is developing, perhaps the new proximity chat will help players plan their raids.

The developers of Raids have stated that the mode will be released later this year, but have not released a release date for it.

Raids is just one of the many new features announced at Call of Duty Next, including Warzones Gulag 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2's new Gunsmith.
