Karl Glusman and Andrea Riseborough Turn Heads in Gay Musical Fantasia in "Please Baby Please" ...

Please Baby Please is a 2022 festival film that is wildest, campiest, and least apologetic. After seeing a murder, a straight-passing married couple begins to question their ideas of gender, sexuality, and monogamy. Soon after, Music Box Films will release it later this year.

Andrea Riseborough's fiery and fearless performance is our favorite, according to Music Box Films Brian Andreotti. Director Amanda Kramers' bold mise en scene and stylized 1950s iconography combine to give adventurous audiences a highly enjoyable musing on gender roles and desire that is both timely and timeless.

Amanda Kramer directs Please Baby Please, based on a script she co-wrote with Noel David Taylor. Her fourth feature, Give Me Pity, premiered this year at the Rotterdam Film Festival.

Demi Moore, Karl Glusman, Andrea Riseborough, Harry Melling, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jaz Sinclair, Dana Ashbrook, Cole Escola, Jake Choi, Marquis Rodriguez, Matt DElia, Karim Saleh, Yedoye Travis, Alisa Torres, Brendan OMeara, and Dalton Weaver star in Please Baby Please.

Amanda Kramers's dangerous tale of dangerous obsession Please Baby Please has a stacked indie cast including the always-riveting Andrea Riseborough, Harry Melling, Cole Escola, and Demi Moore, as well as a queer David Lynch. The visually shocking film has since premiered at Rotterdam earlier this year.

Please Baby Please will be released on IndieWire exclusively on October 28. You can see the trailer, which is a IndieWire exclusive, below:
