Modern Warfare 2 will include a firing range to fine tune weapons ...

Before joining the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will provide a firing range for players to practice their movement and gun skills.

For the first time since Call of Duty: WWII, there will be a new warm-up technique through the firing range. This firing range will be available to all players when MW2 launches on October 28 and will have three lanes for mantling and multiple targets for players to fire at.

The last time we saw a firing range, it was in the WWII lobby and had challenges for players to complete in different sequences. A similar firing range will now be included in MW2 as a way to warm up and prepare for the next matches. However, it is anticipated to be less of a social hub than it was in WWII and more of a practice range this time around.

The firing range will allow players to fine-tune their guns before hitting the live servers, allowing for less scrambling while in the game. The new weapons will have a new gunsmith system that will allow them to be customized to a players playstyle.
