After a developer who collects bug reports, Apex Legends names the skin for a notoriously buggy gun ...

In Apex Legends, a wave of new bugs tends to pop up with every update. This is a tedious and often thankless job, considering theyre often dealing with angry players who want to disrupt their work on the game. Pav is a well-known developer on the public side.

Pav is usually the person who responds to players posting video of their bugs and trying to get more information from them to assist in coordinating fixes for those bugs. Its appropriate, therefore, that Pav's name will be attached to one of the new weapon skins coming to the game for the Rampage, a weapon that has caused some of the support teams' biggest problems in the past year.

Oscar did an amazing job on these https://t.co/Zdptc6unG9 skins.

The Rampage LMG is currently a care package weapon, and as such isnt often discussed at the moment. However, exploits around its charge-up mechanic have made it one of the most frustrating guns in the game. Players kept figuring out ways to keep the Rampage charged permanently without using multiple thermite grenades, making the gun effectively the best weapon in the game.

When the Beast of Prey update comes out, one of Apex's buggiest guns will honor the developer who has likely reviewed the most bug reports and angry tweets directly referencing that gun. It may be a bit of gallows humor, but we prefer to treat it as a badge of honor for one of the studio's toughest jobs and a testament to the effort involved in restoring the Rampage to playable state.

When the Beast of Prey event begins on September 20, you may get the Pav-like Rampage skin.
