New gameplay footage from Hogwarts Legacy VR is coming soon ...

Hogwarts Legacy VR looks to be on the way. Thanks to an Unreal Engine transformative mod, it will enable virtual reality support for the Harry Potter RPG game. Oh, and it should work with Epic's shooter, Fortnite.

The aptly named 'UE VR Injector' mod, developed by 'Praydog,' the VR modder who previously added virtual reality support for Resident Evil 2, will offer virtual reality support for games using Unreal Engine, including Hogwarts Legacy. If you want to experience yourself as a Hogwarts Legacy character or even as a Hogwarts Legacy spell, this may soon become a reality.

Flat2VR, a dedicated VR channel, has already tested Praydog's mod inside the Harry Potter game. For the time being, there is no support for motion controls, meaning that the mod, for all intents and purposes, is visual only — you can turn your head and look around Hogwarts, but you'll still need a regular controller.

There is no fixed release date for the UE VR Injector, therefore we may need to wait. Keep an eye on Praydog's Patreon for further updates. Nevertheless, you may also check out Fortnite VR for further demonstration of the concept.

Meet all of the Hogwarts Legacy characters you'll encounter. You may also wish to examine the Hogwarts Legacy challenges to make sure you'll know what to expect during your fifth year of studying. We can also assist you in brewing some useful Hogwarts Legacy potions, or guide you to all the Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests to keep the galleons rolling in.

JK Rowling, the creator of the Harry Potter series, has made a number of transphobic comments on social media in recent years. Warner Bros. has a license to make games based on Harry Potter, and WB Games claims that "J.K. Rowling is not directly involved in the creation of the game", although it is likely that she will earn royalties from its sales.
