The Hero Augments are one of Teamfight Tactics Set 8: Monsters Attack!'s mainstays, making the creation of a super-buffed champion on your team one of the main objectives of this set. Before, players could only reroll their Hero Augments once, and this was shared with their other augments. Now, with Patch 13.3, released on February 8, the Riot Games developers have given Hero Augments four rerolls instead of one.
Riot Games developers felt compelled to change up the Hero Augments a bit in response to the previous situation. Many players chose suboptimal support augments to match their previous builds, or they would completely abandon their current builds in favor of stronger units and augments.
How do Hero Augments Work in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 8?
Don't expect to get all of these extra rerolls on other augments unless you're pretty good at it. Also, if you see a Hero Augment that fits your team fairly well, be careful of rerolling it again. You may not want to discard a good one in the hopes of finding a better one.
The most famous Riot Games TFT developer, Mortdog, has included this feature to his personal challenge this season, and he's about halfway through. The Hero Augment reroll change, if true, will make it much easier for him to complete his personal challenge.
