The three major characters are unfortunately absent from Hogwarts Legacy. The game takes place at the end of the 1800s, nearly a hundred years before the characters were created. Your avatar is connected to mysterious ancient magic and becomes involved in several historical events that impact the present day, including Harry's, Ron's, and Hermione's adventures in the main series.
Ron Weasley is a surname shared by one of the Hogwarts Legacy professors, but Hermione is not granted the same privilege. Hermione was born from two Muggles, humans who aren't magical. None of her ancestors would have any connections to Hogwarts in the past, so don't expect to see a Granger in the game.
Hogwarts Legacy has a very powerful character creator mode that allows players to make their avatars appear like the film characters from the film series. You can alter your avatar's facial features, body shape, hair color, eye colors, and how much voice they will speak. So even if your character isn't in the game, you can still make your character appear like Hermione, Ron Weasley, Harry Potter, and Draco Malfroy.
