Harry Bring, who is he? There is a chance that you saw the dedication at the end of this week's Criminal Minds: Evolution season 1 finale, and there is a lot to learn from it.
If you have been a long-time supporter of the whole franchise over the years, this name may be familiar to you already. Prior to his death in February 2021, Bring was a co-executive producer and later executive producer on the CBS version of the show. That is why we were surprised that the revival would postpone the release of a title card until the end of the season.
Title cards are often one of the finest ways for a production to pay tribute to someone who was an essential part of the program over the years. This card will be there for all future streams, and it may inspire others to read more of the man's entire work.
Bring also acted as a producer on another hugely successful program in The X-Files, along with Army Wives and Melrose Place. Along the way, he wore many hats to assist in various projects.
It is an understatement to say that the cast and crew of Criminal Minds grew close over a period of time. This is why the tribute to Harry this week was so important, and we certainly do not expect his presence to be overlooked throughout filming for Evolution.
Bring's family and loved ones are mourning his loss. We hope this tribute served as a reminder of why he was so special. (Photo: Paramount+.)
