We're sure that a lot of you out there would like to see Virgin River season 5 on Netflix at some point. It's just a matter of when we're going to get an opportunity to see it again, and the streaming service has one thing very much on their side right now: options. Lots of them.
How flexible are they at the moment? Let's just say they've had no shortage of other hits throughout the last few months. Wednesday exceeded everyone's expectations, and they've got another program that people are likely to be hooked on for the next few months, including Virgin River.
Netflix should do something fairly simple: Reintroduce the Alexandra Breckenridge drama on a given Wednesday or Friday in July, and then stream all of the episodes at the same time. Yet, there are other options they may be considering at the moment.
1. Having it arrive early – Netflix doesn't typically release a season less than a year before the previous one, but they might make an exception if there is a hole in their schedule.
2. Premiere the program on a different day – Today, YOU season 4 premiered on a Thursday, and there is value in them considering something unusual like this. It would give Virgin River its own day of the week to shine, rather than putting it up against something at the box office.
Give two seasons of six episodes a season might result in an earlier premiere — or more subscriber revenue — as well as a lot of people's money.
When it comes to Virgin River, be sure to get some other great information right now.
