Flynne Fisher's tense future will continue to unravel: Prime Video has renewed The Peripheral for Season 2, according to the streamer on Thursday.
Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, the creators of Season 2, said in a statement. "On behalf of Scott Smith, Vincenzo Natali, and the entire team, we're grateful to Amazon and, most importantly, to the fans."
The Peripheral, a sci-fi novel by Gibson, follows Flynn (Kickass‘ Chloe Grace Moretz), a smart young lady who's stuck in a dead-end town until she gets a taste of a virtual reality-like reality, which turns out to be more real than ever.
Co-starring: Jack Reynor (Midsommar), Gary Carr (The Deuce), T'Nia Miller (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Charlotte Riley (Peaky Blinders), and Alexandra Billings (The Conners).
Joy and Nolan, the makers of Westworld, serve as executive producers, alongside creator and showrunner Smith (A Simple Plan).
