Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 players are looking ahead to the next big content drop for both Call of Duty titles, so here's when Season 2 will begin along with the end date for Season 1.
Warzone 2 was launched alongside the Season 1 update of Modern Warfare 2, which added a ton of new content for Call of Duty players, including the return of Shoot House and a new Battle Pass system.
Season 1 Reloaded included more new features, including the Chimera AR, but players are unsure when Season 2 will arrive. We'll go over everything we know so far about Modern Warfare and Warzone 2 Season 2.
When does Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 conclude?
Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will expire on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
The Season 1 Battle Pass timer was originally scheduled to finish on February 1, but the developers have announced a second delay, which has pushed the Season 1 end date back to February 15.
Season 1 of SNL launched on November 16 so it will be available for almost three months before Season 2 begins.
When will Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 begin?
Season 2 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will launch on February 15, 2023, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT, according to the Call of Duty Team.
According to the statement, the devs are busy "making several changes" based on what they heard from CoD enthusiasts who were playing Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
This gave the developers the time they needed to make some of the changes that players have been requesting since Season 1.
What will be included in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2?
Season 2 players in Warzone 2 have a lot to look forward to as the developers make changes to the gulag, looting, and loadouts. This should please players who have demanded significant changes to these capabilities since Warzone 2.
The new Ashika Island map will be added to Warzone 2, resurrecting the Resurgence movement. While the delay may detract players, it appears that long-awaited features will finally make their way to Warzone 2.
Fans of competitive Call of Duty will be pleased to know that Ranked Play will be included to Modern Warfare 2 in Season 2, while the developers confirmed that the competitive experience would be available on the day of the update.
Modern Warfare 2 players will also receive four new maps, including the Valderas Museum and the Dome, for 6v6 gameplay.
Both Season 2 weapons and the Ronin Operator will be introduced in the next game.
