Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has a new Interrogation system similar to Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite, which helps players obtain crucial information during matches. So, here's how the new Warzone and DMZ interrogation system works.
Many of these changes were made during Season 2, which was launched towards the end of 2022, such as how players access their loadouts, the return of 1v1 Gulags, and the elimination of the backpack looting system.
The Interrogation system, similar to those found in Battlefield Hardline, Rainbow Six Siege, and Fortnite, is continuing in Warzone 2. This feature has been a popular addition to the sequel and provides crucial help during matches.
This article explains how Warzone 2 and DMZ's new Interrogation system works, and how to interrogate enemy players.
What is the Interrogation System in Warzone 2?
The Warzone 2 launch blog disclosed further information about Warzone 2 and DMZ's interrogation system, stating that a player may interrogate a downed opponent to reveal their teammates' locations.
After a successful interrogation in squad-based methods, the map will flash with red dots revealing the remaining teammates' locations.
For a brief period of time, you will also be able to see their faces like a Snapshot Grenade, as well as any "placed equipment." Once the interrogatee dies or is revived, the effect dissipates.
It's also important to remember that the person being interrogated may request help, exposing the interrogator's position. Teamwork will be even more essential, and you'll want to remain close to your colleagues to protect them from any eventual interrogators.
In Warzone 2 and DMZ, how do you interrogate foes?
You'll need to approach a player while they're down and press Square/X. Your character will hold a knife to their throat and pull out a gadget with a progress bar, so you'll need to wait a few seconds before it can triangulate the enemies' positions.
