Fans are begging for Saturday, February 25 as the Weeknd prepares to perform.
The Weeknd, who is touring with HBO and HBO Max on his 2022 "After Hours" album tour, opened his long-awaited operatic tour with a fully cinematic experience for spectators, complete with "Perry Mason"-style stage design, moon sacrifices, and veiled women gyrating in ritualistic union.
The Weeknd strengthens his collaboration with HBO ahead of the scripted series premiere of "The Idol," in which he plays Lily-Rose Depp.
The original concert special tagline reads, "Explore the sold-out concert like never before."
The concert special, which was presented at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, was taped in 2022 for the first part of the singer's "After Hours Til Dawn Tour" and features him performing top songs from his most recent studio albums, "After Hours" and "Dawn FM."
"The Weeknd: Live at SoFi Stadium," a Grammy winner's highly anticipated role in HBO Original drama "The Idol," gets viewers up close and personal with a special intimate concert performance.

The Weeknd also executive produce with La Mar C. Taylor, Jordy Wax, and director Bickham. Aaron Cooke co-creates the concert special.
“The Weeknd: Live at SoFi Stadium” will be available on HBO Max beginning February 25 at 8 p.m. ET.
