In Hogwarts Legacy, how do I improve Alohomora's skill level?

In Hogwarts Legacy, you will need to complete side quests for The Caretaker to improve your Alohomora spell's skill level.

After you complete The Caretaker's Lunar Lament story mission, you will need to bring Demiguise Moons from Demiguise Statues back to The Caretaker to further your Alohomora skill level to levels two and three.

The Demiguise Moon Statues are only available at night, so keep an eye on them whenever possible.

To unlock Alohomora level two, you will need to get nine of these Moons back to The Caretaker, and another 13 to unlock Alohomora level three.

In Hogwarts Legacy, how do I lockpick and unlock doors?

Okay, the Moons have returned to The Caretaker, and you have increased your skill level for Alohomora; that's great, and all, but do you know how to properly use the spell to lockpick and unlock doors in the first place?

This gameplay is explained, but it's run poorly, so we're certain it was of no use to players. It's, nevertheless, quite simple to execute, as long as you follow the simple steps below:

  • Notice the two dials present: the red dial (inner dial), and the green dial (outer dial).
  • The red dial is rotated using the A and D keys.
  • The green dial is rotated using the O and E keys.
  • Your aim is to rotate one dial at a time until you notice their respective gears spinning.
  • Once both gears begin spinning, the door or chest will finally unlock.
