Hogwarts Legacy offers a wide variety of ingredients to create various different potions, each with its own uses and special abilities. While Edurus potions encase players' skin in stone to provide protection against the elements, Invisibility potions conceal a character from the view of others. Mallowsweet is a plant that, while not used for potions, is still extremely helpful for players who wish to complete Merlin Trials.
Players will encounter challenges called Merlin Trials, which test their knowledge of basic spells. To begin a Merlin Trial, players must first locate the challenge starting point and activate the test with the Mallowsweet herb.
Mallowsweet locations in Hogwarts Legacy
In Hogwarts Legacy, players can obtain more Mallowsweet by finding this reagent out in the world. As part of the main storyline, players will first acquire their first few Mallowsweet leaves from Nora Treadwell.
The best place to find more Mallowsweet leaves is the Magic Neep, located in the northern part of Hogsmeade, near the stone bridge. Players may purchase both Mallowsweet and seeds to grow their own.
If you have the 200 Galleons to spare, the seeds are fairly quick and easy to grow. Players will need a planter of any size in the Room of Requirement. Simply interact with the pot and select Mallowsweet to begin growing your own leaves. This planter will begin to grow one Mallowsweet leaf every 10 minutes, giving you a lot of material.
