Hogwarts Legacy allows players to experience almost every element of the Harry Potter franchise, while simultaneously taking a few classes. As it turns out, you can also use certain magical plants such as Mandrakes and Venemous Tentacula to defend yourself in the early game.
Here's all you need to know about getting Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy.
Where can I find a Mandrake in Hogwarts Legacy?
The first time you'll get a taste of gardening is in Professor Garlick's Herbology class. Players will be able to pull a Mandrake out of its pot and place it into another. From then on, you'll be able to spot a Mandrake in the ground when you traverse the magical landscape.
To get a Mandrake, you'll have to go to the Forbidden Forest. The small house will be shown on the map above, and after fighting a few undead creatures around the house, you'll be able to spot a big tree. Next to that tree, there'll be a corpse with a note explaining their final moments of their life, but there will be three Mandrakes next to it.
In Hogwarts Legacy, how do you acquire and plant Mandrake Seeds?
The Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade are also available. They’ll set you back 800G, but you can grow them as long as you have a potting table.
You may then go to the Room of Requirement and make your own Mandrake for quest or battle. Remember that the Mandrake can also be used to stun a large group of enemies at the same time, so be sure to keep one handy on such a scenario.
Now you have them to deafen your foes. Just make sure you wear earplugs, as they are prone to yell.
