In the new State of Play, Sony may reveal more PlayStation projects, but it might be mediocre ...

The last Sony PlayStation State of Play has taken place for quite a few months, and players have now completed popular titles on the console, including God of War and Forspoken, and they want to know what will come next in 2023.

According to insider Jeff Grubb, the next State of Play will be held in late February or early March. However, fans should keep their expectations calm before going into it, as rumors are already swirling about a more "low-key" program.

Sony is a long way off from demonstrating its hand for the E3 summer games events this year. Although it will not be at E3, it is likely that it will display some first-party titles during one of its own broadcasts, or at Gamescom, like it did last year.

The State of Play will most likely follow the PlayStation VR 2, which will launch on February 22. Players who acquire one of them will likely see at least one or two titles that will be available during the broadcast.

Sony has yet to confirm any of this information, although the last State of Play was held in September last year. The last time there was little notice before the broadcast, and fans were only told about it the day before.

Those who want to see it will need to keep an eye on social media to see when the next one will be. They will need to also make sure their expectations are in check, since the early indication that this State of Play might turn out to be a bit disappointing for most fans.
