It's important to know that saying anything on the internet that involves your place in Kevin Feige's imagination, or that you've ever been involved in, or are attached to, a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. It's akin to walking through a family of sleeping howler monkeys and somehow managing to step on all of their tails at the same time.

Patrick Stewart was happy to alert ComicBook about any hint you drop.

Stewart was asked about his possible involvement with the upcoming MCU film Deadpool 3, which we already know will feature Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and then be the mutant's first entry into the franchise.

Stewart is also a Fox Universe X-Men veteran, having been the face of Professor X for as long as it has existed. He returned to the role in last year's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, although that version was killed by Scarlet Witch in the blink of an eye.

Stewart may not be done with the MCU just yet, however, as Deadpool 3 continues to come together.

We should be asking how they might possibly write around the events of the Multiverse of Madness, but plot concerns are nothing compared to the desire of those who would pay twice at their cinemas to see Stewart return to his most famous superhero role.

Fans started clamoring for another Fox universe veteran to join Stewart in Deadpool's third appearance.

The coyer is the better when it comes to faking speculations like this one. We still have a long way to go before we learn if this little hint really matters, but even if Wolverine ends up being the only member of the X-Men we get for Deadpool 3, it's still a step forward for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's highly anticipated mutant era.

Deadpool 3 is expected to be released on November 8, 2024.
