Britney Spears slams sources that her family and friends were planning an intervention ...

Britney Spears has warned her followers on Instagram not to believe everything they see online.

The singer posted messages on Instagram to protest false health claims. She lashes out against those who have been leaking personal stories, and she fears that she might not be able to post on Instagram due to the gossip. This isn't the first time that the "Toxic" singer has stopped posting to her Instagram.

According to TMZ, Britney had been struggling with substance abuse, which caused her to behave erratically. Spears was also said to have not been using her medication to stabilize herself. However, according to sources, the singer somehow became aware of the intervention and the plan was changed.

Britney herself has fervently denied these claims on her Instagram. In the post, she claims to be fine and says that her rocky past is no longer there, "it's not 2007... it's 2023," before reaffirming to everyone that her conservatorship ended more than a year ago.

For a long time, speculations regarding Spears' mental health and well-being have been a topic of public discussion. Britney's well-being only increased when she was freed from her 13-year-long conservatorship, under the control of her father, Jamie Spears.

Spears has been criticized by fans and others who claim to be concerned about her health in the recent years. Many credit her Instagram and TikTok posts as proof of her mental and physical state.

Britney has kept herself busy in the year since her conservatorship expired. She not only released a duet with Elton John, but also married model and actor Sam Asghari in June last year.

After spending so long under the public scrutiny and having every private drama shared with the world, Spears's displeasure with the media is evident. Now may be the time to give Britney some privacy.
