Fans have received a taste of Laurence Fishburne's character in Marvel's forthcoming Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur series, and now they're eager to see him appear in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Fishburne discussed his involvement with GMA, the program where he is the executive producer and creator. On top of that, the Matrix star lends his voice to the Beyonder, a vastly powerful being that is certainly bigger than Kang the Conqueror. The short clip follows Beyonder's introduction in a Disney animated film.
While it appears that Beyonder will never see a singing-dancing Beyonder during his live-action debut, the creators of the program have already confirmed that Moon Girl will take place in their own universe.
Kang might take the place of the Beyonder in the big-screen adaptation of Secret Wars, perhaps as a variant. Meaning that the actual Beyonder might not have a significant role, or may not even exist at all in the film.
Fans have joked that they would like to see Fishburne's energy as the MCU's Beholder.
The Beyonder was the villainous entity behind the Secret Wars in the comics, and in what was the first crossover event in Marvel Comics, he kidnaps heroes and villains to fight in his battle world.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur from Marvel will be available on Disney Channel on Friday, February 15, before launching on Disney Plus on Wednesday, February 15.
