Jamie Lee Curtis continues to push for aFreaky Friday sequel by sharing a throwback photo with her co-starLindsay Lohan on her Instagram account.
The story of a mother and a teenage daughter takes a serious turn after the couple switch bodies and are forced to adapt to each other's lifestyle after a heated argument at a restaurant. Freaky Friday made its theatrical debut in August 2003 and became a commercial success.
Curtis took it upon herself to remind fans that she is not giving up on her dream of reuniting with Lohan for Freaky Friday 2 after 20 years. She also tagged Lohan and Disney in a press photo on February 10.
Curtis has stated that she is interested in working with Lohan again in a Freaky Friday sequel. Last October, she shared that she was not only interested in working with Lohan again, but she also suggested a film idea to Disney.
Shortly after Curtis' remarks, sources close to Lohan issued a statement to media outlets letting the public know she is willing to do a Freaky Friday sequel if it ever happens.
