Some of the most prominent comments that have been made towards the close of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's fourth phase were the ones aimed at the CGI. Of course, Marvel's attention to CGI did wear out towards the end of Phase 4, but what can you expect when you treat your VFX artists with a pinch of salt?
We'll cross our fingers that this new look at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will lead to better working conditions for Marvel's spectacle potential, because that would be the delectable cherry on top of Ant-Man's third (and, unfortunately, his last) appearance.
Quantumania's cast and crew promise us that seeing their new film on the big screen will pay out tenfold, thanks to the amazing special effects that so many critics have already praised, and they provided us with a few clips that might help James Cameron reconsider his approach to the franchise.
Quantumania's visual effects are getting a little more attention than previously thought; given that the majority of the film takes place in the mysterious Quantum Realm, movie magic was going to be a bigger name of the game than it usually is with Marvel. Add that to the rest of the realm's zany denizens, and it's not hard to see why the visuals were at the top of the checklist for Quantumania.
Quantumania, Ant-Man and the Wasp, will be released on February 17 in theaters.
