Even the cast of Thunderbolts is waiting for an answer on the film, whether it's due to secrecy or delays. Sebastian Stan, and most likely his Marvel co-stars, have yet to receive the script for the upcoming film which will begin production later this year.
At this point, Marvel does not play around with spoilers, and having to constantly do damage control due to Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo's occasional spoiler mistakes hasn't helped much. That may be the reason why Stan has yet to be given a script for Thunderbolts as a way to avoid leaks as much as possible.
Stan said that his timeline of events is mostly "on par with how it normally goes," implying that there is no need to be concerned about setbacks.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the shady mastermind behind the rogue team-up, announced that shooting for Thunderbolts will begin in June. Meanwhile, a few casting-related twists and turns behind the scenes have left fans even more curious about what to expect from the upcoming film.
Stan will reprise his role as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier/The White Wolf, alongside other MCU alumni including Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova/Red Guardian, Wyatt Russel as John Walker/U.S. Agent, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster. Hannah John-Kamen, who played Ava Starr as Ghost in Ant-Man and the Wasp, is expected to have dropped the project, while Ayo Ed
Thunderbolts is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
