Players in Hogwarts Legacy learn and use various kinds of spells on their foes. While all of the spells have their use, three Unforgivable Curses are extremely powerful. The first Unforgivable Curse you can learn in the game is Crucio, and here's how to obtain it.
In Hogwarts Legacy, how do I unlock the Crucio spell?
Sebastian Sallow, a fellow student of the Slytherin House, will be the subject of a side quest called In the Shadow of the Undercroft. Following this, your bond with Sebastian will strengthen, and you'll begin doing quests with him beginning with the term "In the Shadow of...".
As you complete the missions, Sebastian will teach you the Crucio spell that, when used on an enemy, damages them over time. Keep participating in Sebastian's quests if you want to learn the other two Unforgivable Curses, i.e., Imperio and Avada Kedavra.
Can you hardly believe that Crucio is not there in Hogwarts Legacy?
If you choose the wrong dialogue choice near the end of the In the Shadow of the Study mission, you'll miss the chance to acquire the Crucio curse. However, take a few more quests with Sebastian and ask him to teach you the spell.
