Hogwarts Legacy is rapidly advancing to the top of the list of video games to be released in 2023, thanks to its intricate yet unique plot, stunning visuals, and advanced dueling system. The game has quickly recovered the admiration of many former wizarding fans of the Wizarding World.

One of the coolest things about the game is how many tiny details there are throughout the world of Hogwarts Legacy. An example of this are the many hidden chests scattered around the map that players may discover or occasionally stumble upon. One of these, the Hogwarts library's Restricted Section, is particularly difficult to find!

How to Find the Hogwarts Restricted Section Chest

There are a few things you will need to do first in order to find this chest in Hogwarts Legacy. We have listed all of these steps in order below.

  • Firstly, you will need to accept a main quest with Sebastian Sallow, which is the only way you can get into the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts library for the first time.
  • After that, your main worry is the ghosts who are always close, so be sure that you have a way to sneak past them!
  • Next, head downstairs to the lower floors of the library’s section.
  • Look for a storage room, and enter that as soon as you find it.
  • Inside the room, check the far corner (down the stairs) of the room for your prize!
  • There’s also a secret chest hidden within the fireplace in the library. Unfortunately in order to access this chest, you need to distinguish the flames. You’ll need Glacius spell to put out the flame in order to access.
