The Genshin Impact developers have issued a response to Tighnari's English voice actor, Elliot Gindi, who is accused of sexual misconduct. The voice actor has also been accused of grooming, emotional abuse, and having inappropriate interactions with fans, some of whom were said to be underage at the time.

Both Gindi and HoYoverse have issued responses to the accusations filed on February 7th. He admits to threatening to kill himself if his misconduct was exposed. But he also denies having links to anyone under the age of 18.
HoYoverse has now replied to GamesRadar+ with a statement stating the following:
"We deeply regret the harm and suffering suffered by our fans, gamers, the community, and anyone affected." Both our internal teams and external partners, including our voice acting studio, have been working together on an urgent solution. We will keep you updated on the progress.
Matty, a former mod on Gindi's Discord server, sent out a Google Doc with screenshots of Discord conversations, text messages, and other DMs containing sexual content between Gindi and fans. We advise caution when opening.
Matty received the following information from individuals with whom Gindi reportedly had connections at the time, since she was a moderator on his Discord server. She has since deleted the server.
Brianna Knickerbocker (Hu Tao), Alejandro Saab (Cyno) and others have also commented on the situation. “To abuse that trust and exploit your position is horrible,” says Jackie Lastra, who voices Xiangling.
