The Resident Evil 4 Remake Deluxe Edition's release date is approaching so quickly that we can almost smell the horrible stench of burning flesh from the opening sequence of one of the greatest horror games of all time. However, buyers of the Resident Evil 4 Remake Deluxe Edition might gain an advantage over competitors thanks to a DLC map.
The Resident Evil 4 Deluxe Edition on Steam includes the original soundtrack, two 'Deluxe weapons,' the Sentinel Nine handgun and the Skull Shaker shotgun.
A ResetEra user noted that Microsoft's Xbox store lists all of the deluxe add-ons separately. It's likely that Capcom will provide the same option for the RE4 Remake once it's released.
"Discover the hidden treasures that await you in this map." Interestingly, the description adds that "some of the additional treasures can only be verified in your map in the main story."
While it may be more beneficial to reward players with additional collectibles to hunt down rather than to just give you extra in-game cash as a reward, it does make me sad that I won't get to enjoy some truly unique treasures if I don't purchase the premium edition.
Resident Evil 4 wasn't exactly a money-strike, and you shouldn't feel like you're being too short-changed without having access to these treasures. However, with a number of changes, such as the addition of RE4 Remake knife durability and the removal of the classic RE4 weapon upgrade exploit, it's possible that money may be in more demand.
The final balance in the game will allow the bonus treasures to end up more like an excess than an essential, but only time will tell. It's certainly a point to take into account when considering which version of Resident Evil 4 remake to purchase.
Even if the RE4 Remake director didn't want to do it at the start, the Resident Evil 4 Remake process appears to be quite impressive. You can also avoid the survival horror cravings by playing some of the greatest zombie games on PC.
