The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 beta is now available on PlayStation users, and it contains a small but fun assortment of game modes. Some are old, some are new, but all are enjoyable.
What modes are in the Modern Warfare 2 beta?
During the first beta test for Modern Warfare 2, four game modes are available, while the other two are new modes introduced during the Call of Duty presentation on September 15, 2022.
A good old-fashioned death match. Two teams of six meet up. The first to achieve 75 kills or the team with the highest body count at the end of ten minutes is declared the winner.
To earn points, capture, hold, and defend the objectives on the map. Two teams of six meet up and the first team to reach 200 points is declared the winner.
Prisoner Rescue is the first of two new modes in the series. Taking a page from the CS:GO manual, one team of players must rescue captives from the opposing team. The mode consists of rounds where teams will alternate between attacking and defending. There are no respawns, and downed players must be revived by teammates.
Knock Out is similar to Elimination. A package must be held for a set period of time to win. If no team eliminates the other team, the winner is declared. No respawns, and players who have fallen must be resurrected by their teammates.
