Hogwarts Legacy is set in Harry Potter's beloved wizarding world and takes place long before the books and films. You'll get the chance to explore the magnificent castle and its surroundings, interact with familiar characters, and make spells and brew potions as you go.
You are presented with a decent assortment of such choices when introducing your character. Unlike previous Harry Potter titles, Hogwarts Legacy has a fairly thorough character creator, which allows you to customize your character to your liking. Body types, hairstyle, eyes color, vocal pitch, and other customizations are all fairly standard in any game's character creation, but are you able to change your name once you have set it?
In Hogwarts Legacy, can you change your name?
One of the most essential choices when constructing your character is, of course, choosing a name. Both of these are required during creation. Throughout the game, you may modify your character's appearance, but there is currently no way to change your character's name.
Your character's name is a permanent assignment that will follow you throughout your journey – so choose wisely. If you have subtitles on, you'll want your character to be referred to repeatedly throughout the story.
