Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta includes a variety of maps that are available in all sizes. Each map can be experienced in 6v6 game modes, including new modes Prisoner Rescue and Knock Out.
Maps and locations in the MW2 Beta
The Breenbergh Hotel is a medium-sized map set in the heart of Amsterdam, Netherlands. This building has everything you would expect from a hotel: a check-in lobby, a penthouse, a restaurant, and a valet rooftop. Players will bespawning outdoors, either at its entrance or back parking lot.
Farm 18 is said to be set in Kastovia and is heavily inspired by the Modern Warfare (2019) map Shoot House. The center of the map contains a massive structure with the same name and layout. Players will then discover abandoned shops and training facilities surrounding the outside of the building.
The Mercado Las Almas map is said to be about as small as Shipment and Shoot House. It is centered around an outdoor marketplace that consists of three lanes and two-story structures that accompany each one. Its notable sections include the narrow market center in the middle of the map and the guard gate that greets all visitors.
The Valderas Museum is the first game to show a large map, with a large art gallery that covers most of the area. However, due to the fact that it is set in Spain, visitors will also find some beautiful outdoor gardens here.
Despite the short list, more maps have already been revealed to be included in the game at the launch. Sarrif Bay is one of these unreleased locations, a 32v32 map that is mostly dedicated to MW2s Ground War mode. In the meantime, we highly recommend creating a Custom Class. Although this feature will have to be unlocked, players can choose their own weapon and perks.
