I Wanna Dance With Somebody, a biopic starring Naomi Ackie, from Star Wars, has released its first trailer.
The film follows the life of a legendary singer,who is widely recognized as one of the most successful musical artists of all time with six Grammy Award nominations throughout her career.
From being discovered by record executive Clive Davis while singing in a club to appearing in sold-out stadiums and participating in the 1991 Super Bowl, we can see a few glimpses of Houston's famous career.
The film appears to offer a glimpse into Houston's life off the stage, including her interactions with her mother Cissy Houston and husband Bobby Brown.

Kasi Lemmons' I Wanna Dance With Somebody is directed by Anthony McCarten. Clive Davis, who signed Houston to Arista records, and Pat Houston, the late singer's sister-in-law serve as producers on the film.
