When Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen (somehow) rejoins Grant Gustin's Barry Allen during The Flash's farewell season, one of Arrow's calling cards will be displayed.

Amell and former co-star David Ramsey will reprise their roles as Arrow‘s Oliver/Green Arrow and Diggle/Spartan in the ninth episode of The Flash's ninth season, with Keiyan Lonsdale and Sendhil Ramamurthy reprising their roles as Wally West/Kid Flash and Dr. Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork.

Danielle Panabaker, a former Flash cast member, will handle the chore of directing this anticipated reunion for the sixth time.

As such, when TVLine recently spoke with Panabaker about the Feb. 15 episode of The Flash (which will reveal the mysterious new character she is now playing), we had to also confirm that the suited-up BTS photo that David Ramsey shared meant that Episode 9 would have a "super" fight sequence.

Panabaker said, "One of the stunts we performed was one of the finest that have ever been performed on Flash."

Panabaker teased a "incredible fight sequence," in keeping with the Arrow fight sequences I've done over the years. (We'll see much more from Panabaker in both Episode 2 and 9 in future TVLine segments."

Flash showrunner Eric Wallace has been vague on specifics, though he assured TVLine, "We will not modify anything that has been done during the eight seasons of Arrow." Rather, "we honor all of that."

What is the conclusion to this unexpected yet fitting reunion between Barry and Oliver? “There won't be a dry eye in the house at the end of that episode,” Wallace assured.
