Studio Colorido's most recent feature, 2020s A Whisker Away, chronicles the life of a girl who falls into a cat to attract the attention of a crush. Hiroyasu Ishida is the director of Drifting Home. Ishidas previous films include Penguin Highway and Fumikos Confession. Hayashi Mori is well-known for her work on the anime series Babylon. Akihiro Nagae and Fumi Kato are both composers.

Mutsumi Tamura and Asami Seto play the lead in the film Noppo, who is well-known for her roles on Ascendance of a Bookworm and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
