The Handmaid's Tale has finally reintroduced itself to our screens, with the Hulu original debuting its fifth season on September 14th. In just two episodes, the new season has given viewers a lot of time to think about heading into the remainder of the season. Hulu has provided some inside look footage, including some breakdowns on crucial moments from the episodes.

The first segment of the season, "Morning," begins shortly after June killed Fred Waterford, revealing how she has thus far dealt with the tragedy. Elisabeth Moss, Samira Wiley, O-T Fagbenle discuss June's reaction, as well as how their respective characters respond to June's actions.

The second inside look at episode 2, "Ballet," begins with Serena as she, Nick, and Commander Lawrence plan to pay for Waterford's funeral. Strahovski, Max Minghella, Bradley Whitford, and Tuchman discuss Serena's uncertain status and her intentions to show the world another side of Gilead. During the final scene, Madeline Brewer and Ann Dowd discuss the changing relationship between the two handmaids, and Esther's shocking retaliation

Season 5 of The Handmaid's Tale picks up in the wake of June's killing of Waterford, as she struggles to reclaim her identity and purpose. Serena is also attempting to bring Gilead's influence into Canada, which viewers have already begun to notice in episode 2.

Miller's show is inspired by Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name. Additional Season 5 cast includes Amanda Brugel, Sam Jaeger, Genevieve Angelson, and Christine Ko. Hulu has also confirmed that the show will continue for a sixth and final season.
