Following observations in a recent interview, the rumors about the Final Fantasy Tactics remake have surfaced once more. When asked why the game includes so few Tactics characters, Ichiro Hazama replied the Tactics team was too busy to talk to them.
The Final Fantasy Tactics team is "significantly involved in another project."
Despite many FF Tactics developers moving on to Final Fantasy XIV in recent years, it appears like the group has now been reassembled. Hazama told Finaland that “the Tactics team is incredibly busy at the moment, they have other things to do. They are heavily involved in another project at the moment.” Many are hoping this project will be the Final Fantasy Tactics remake, which was first revealed among the 18,000 games included in the Nvidia database leak, which has since been dubbed
Final Fantasy XIV might be expanded by a different project within Square Enix. The "team" may be continuing to work on the game for the time being.
