A virtual trading card game called Genshin Impact is on the way ...

Genshin Impact's designers have announced yet another enhancement to the game: Genius Invokation, a virtual trading card game that you may play within the game's world. Version 3.3 of the game is expected to be released on December 7.

The cards are all based on Genshin Impact-related creatures. Youll be able to invite various NPCs and other characters to play. (The recently announced character Cyno apparently enjoys playing it.) It will be mainly a PvE mode that is light and casual, and no rewards.

Footage showed turn-based battle between two sides, with board cards based on characters like Keqing, Diluc, Xingqiu, and Mona. All cards may be acquired through gameplay, so it looks like players will not need to use gacha elements to get all of the cards.

The news was shared as part of the upcoming 3.1 update stream, which teased the game's next mainline quest. Mondstadt will be celebrated as well as a thrilling adventure in Sumeru where you take on two leaders of the Fatui Harbingers: Dottore and Scaramouche.
