The Hogwarts Legacy Limited Edition DualSense is now available for almost twice the price ...

According to current eBay listings, the coveted Hogwarts Legacy Limited Edition Dualsense controller for PS5 is already being discounted for nearly twice the price of its original price. This includes both the US and the United Kingdom versions of the PS5 Dualsense, which were only available through the PlayStation Store and are currently sold out.

The PlayStation Store for Hogwarts Legacy Dualsense sold out almost immediately.

The MSRP for the controller is only $79.99, but the most recent eBay bids for the product (for the pre-orders) range from about $150 to $170. That doesn't include the shipping for many listings.

The immediate availability of the Dualsense pre-order listings on the website suggests that scalper bots are partly to blame for the lack of stock in the PlayStation Store.

Several Twitter users were fortunate to get a pre-order from the PlayStation Store, but others felt disappointed when they saw that the controller was defective. Or that the controller was not even available to purchase in the first place when it was released in the United States at 10 pm PT / 1 pm ET.

When the controller was available in the United Kingdom, it almost sold out immediately, despite the fact that it is limited to one per customer due to high demand. A PlayStation blog post that promoted this special edition DualSense controller was recently deleted of any information about it.

The Hogwarts Legacy Limited Edition Dualsense was unveiled yesterday, with a gold swirling motif of Ancient Magic. The controller is not available for sale outside of the United Kingdom or United States, nor is it available through third-party retailers.
