The Infinity Wards sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare franchise will be released on October 28. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is on the way, and some sacred maps will be returning, as well as a selection of new maps for players to quickscope and trickshot on.
With historic maps like Terminal, Highrise, and Quarry making their way onto the newest generation of consoles in Warzone 2.0, fans of the original MW2 will have to take a giant nostalgia trip. They are also great candidates for maps in MW2 multiplayer.
There are only a few maps available to play in the open beta of MW2, and there aren't many game modes yet. Infinity Ward is likely to expand the beta as the time goes on, but it will still be a glimpse of the entire suite of options that players may expect when MW2 launches on October 28.
Al Mazrah, Warzone 2.0's new battle royale map, and its new DMZ mode, are not included in the multiplayer maps in MW2, but some large-scale maps are copies of Al Mazrah, much like previous Ground War maps from 2019s Modern Warfare were included in Verdansk.
Here's a list of all of the titles that have been confirmed so far, including maps designed for six-vs-six and large-scale game modes of 32-vs-32.
