XQc claims that family issues and separation prevented him from attending Sh*t Camp ...

xQc, a popular streamer, claimed on the stream that his recent breakup with his partner and fellow streamer Adept prevented him from attending QTCinderellas collaborative content creator event, Shit Camp. However, Adept refuted these assertions and took issue with the former Overwatch pro's claims.

Many viewers and streamers alike took issue with xQc in the days leading up to Shit Camp when he unexpectedly decided to skip the event he was originally promised to attend. Although xQc claimed he refused to attend Shit Camp because of his long-term partner Adept's behavior, he has since admitted that he did not intend to participate in the event.

xQc said on a late night Sept. 15 stream that he felt divided between his family and Adept. xQc claimed that a not-fixable conflict between the streamers' brother and respective significant other and Adept ultimately drove their eventual separation.

xQc admitted that I should have gone and played it out and just played the part. But my friends and everyone else know that I am not good at concealing things or keeping things private. Especially when it comes to breakups, I think it's really lame to leak anything or go public and I told [Adept] that I wouldn't.

Due to the overwhelming amount of hate he was receiving both inside and outside his community, XQc said he decided to speak up about the split and the supposedly true reason he did not attend Shit Camp.

Adept disapproved of xQcs' decision to reveal not only their split, but their personal reasons as well as the reason why he did not attend Shit Camp, claiming that xQc had already planned to skip the event.

It's not the truth about him not going. Adept said he had already decided that he would not attend. He had already stated the things about Shit Camp that sparked outrage amongst the QTCinderellas supporters. He was already killing the hype by touting negative slurs about it. Then we parted.

Since their respective Sept. 15 streams, neither streamer has commented, leaving many viewers curious if either will disclose further information regarding the apparent breakup.
